Support Services Division
The Support Services Division, commanded by Captain Paul Lester, supports the department’s basic patrol function. The Support Services Division is comprised of five sections: Records and Communications, Criminal Investigations and Internal Affairs, Evidence and Property, Information Technology, and the Emergency Response Team. The mission of the Support Services Division is to provide support through investigations, tactical response, technology, records, and evidence management. Division personnel consist of five well seasoned officers with a variety of experience and expertise in many different areas of law enforcement. The quantity of responsibilities handled by the Support Services Division greatly exceeds the amount of available personnel and creates a never ending challenge. Nevertheless, the vision of becoming a regionally recognized leader of investigative and technical support in the law enforcement community is rapidly becoming an inevitable reality.
