Title IX Notification
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program. UNCG Police, in their role as, “Responsible Employees” under Title IX, are required to report all incidents of sexual violence to the University. Additionally, UNCG Police are required to advise students of their right to file a complaint with the University, regardless of their desire to continue an investigation with law enforcement. The contact information for the University’s Title IX Coordinator is available at: titleix.uncg.edu.
