The UNC Greensboro Police Department is committed to keeping the UNCG Community a safe and secure place for all of our students, faculty and staff. One service the Department provides is safety escorts. The purpose of the safety escort program is to provide walking escorts for faculty, staff, students, and visitors who feel unsafe on campus after dark. The escorts are provided by police officers, security officers and student rangers. |

| Escorts provided by the UNCG Police Department will be walking escorts to and from any location on campus. If you need an escort off campus we recommend the following services, also provided through The University. | ||||

Sunday through Thursday 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm escorts will be provided by Student Rangers. |
||||
Security and Police personnel will provide safety escorts to those who feel unsafe after 11:00pm, on weekends, Holidays and University Breaks. |
||||
| If your safety escort does not arrive within 10 minutes, please call again to check the status of their arrival. | ||||
