In April 2019 the UNCG Police answered 922 calls for service; which consisted of suspicious activity, safety walks, fire alarms, and welfare checks but also includes 16 traffic collisions, 5 disturbance calls, 11 larcenies, 1 indecent exposure, 21 narcotics violations, 3 vandalism calls, 2 stalking call, and 28 medical calls. The officers made 35 arrests to include; 1 breaking and entering, 4 carry concealed weapons, 1 possession of firearm by felon, 1 possession of stolen firearm, 1 assault on a gov’t official, 1 drug paraphernalia, 1 hit and run, 1 larceny related charge, 1 possession of cocaine, 5 possession of marijuana, 1 manufacture controlled substance, 1 possession of scheduled IV controlled substance, 1 simple assault, 1 viol of domestic protection order, 1 careless and reckless, 6 driving while impaired, 4 order for arrest, and 3 warrant for arrest.
