In September 2019 the UNCG Police answered 1197 calls for service; mostly for safety walks, welfare checks, suspicious activity and fire alarms but also included 8 disturbance calls, 22 traffics collisions, 21 narcotics violations, 16 larcenies, 17 hit and runs, and 50 medical calls. The officers made 30 arrests to include; 2 driving while impaired, 1 affray, 1 assault with a deadly weapon, 1 underage consumption, 1 hit and run, 1 felony possession of schedule II CS, 4 simple possession of schedule VI CS, 3 resist, delay or obstruct, 1 all other larcenies, 1 revoked driver’s license, 3 possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, 8 orders for arrest, 2 warrant for arrest, and 1 permitting dogs to run at large at night.
