Citizen Connect
Citizen Connect is a public facing data portal into the UNCG Police Records Management System. The portal allows citizens to:
- Obtain daily incident reports
- Sign up for and receive daily emails of crimes that are occurring with a specified distance from an address
- Search arrests and incidents and that have occurred within a defined range
- Submit crime tips online to the UNCG Police
Behavioral Assessment Team
As part of an institution-wide commitment to safety and security, the University has established the Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT), which specifically serves as the coordinating hub of a network of existing resources focused on violence prevention and early intervention for the university community in accordance with existing University policies.
Clery Compliance
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a federal mandate requiring all institutions of higher education (IHEs) that participate in the federal student financial aid program to disclose information about crime on their campuses and in the surrounding communities.

Interested in Applying
Filling out the interest form is the first step in being hired by the UNCG Police Department. We will not accept any applications until we have an opening, those on the Employment Interest List will be notified via mail or e-mail that the UNCG Police Department is accepting applications.

Student Employment
The UNCG Police Department offers part-time positions to students. Once hired, the student will then be trained in the Student Ranger Program.

The Campus Violence Response Center’s (CVRC) mission is to create a single point of access for any UNCG community member who has experienced violence.
Spartan Recovery
Spartan Recovery at UNCG is the premier program in the state of North Carolina for students who have made improvements to their lives by not drinking alcohol or using other illicit or non-prescribed drugs.

Counseling & Psychological Services offers a wide range of services designed to support and challenge the personal growth, academic success, and emotional well-being of currently enrolled UNCG students.

Dept. of Ed. Crime Stats
The Campus Safety and Security Data Analysis Cutting Tool is brought to you by the Office of Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education. This analysis cutting tool was designed to provide rapid customized reports for public inquiries relating to campus crime and fire data.
NC SBI Crime Stats
North Carolina crime statistics are reports submitted to the NC State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) from participating law enforcement agencies across the state. The NCSBI provides the collection of data to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS), as part of the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program.
NC Traffic Stops Stats
In April 1999, the state legislature passed Senate Bill 76 which required traffic stop statistics be collected for State law enforcement officers effective as of January 1, 2000.
